HMD Global, the company that acquires all the right for manufacture, sell, and promotion of Nokia-branded smartphones from Microsoft, has finally unveiled the Nokia 6 handset in China. Nokia 6 will be available through JD.com in China. HMD global also promised to unveil more Nokia branded handset in 2017. Nokia 6 is priced at CNY 1699 (roughly
Rs 16,700). The company hasn’t mentioned anything about the availability of this device outside China, but according to rumors, this handset will be soon available for the Indian market.
The Nokia 6 by HMD Global runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It is a dual sim phone and has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection is provided for the screen.
This latest Nokia branded handset is powered by Snapdragon’s octa-core 430 processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It house a 4GB DDR3 RAM and provided with 64 GB inbuilt memory. (Memory can be expanded up to 128 GB through microSD card.)
Nokia 6 has a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus, and f/2.0 aperture. In front, an 8MP selfie shutter with 84-degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture is provided.
Nokia 6 supports 4G LTE. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB OTG and Wi-Fi connectivity. It is power by a 3000mAh battery. The smartphone has dimension 154 x 75.8 x 7.8mm. Nokia 6 comes with dual speakers powered by Dolby Atmos tech, 3.5mm headphone jack, and front mounted fingerprint sensor. It will be available in the different variant of black color.
Rumors: According to rumors, HMD Global is going to launch at least five smartphones in 2017. It is also reported that the company might launch 5.7-inch QHD display smartphones in MWC 2017.
